The Indian School Talent Search Exam (ISTSE) is an international-level scholarship Olympiad designed to assess the intellectual potential of students from Class 1 to 10. It evaluates skills across Mental & Logical Ability, Mathematics, Science, and English, aligning with CBSE, ICSE, and State Board curricula.

Class 1–3: May 18, 2025

Class 4–6: May 17, 2025

Class 7–10: May 11, 2025​

 

Registration Deadline: November 15, 2025

Exam Date: February 3, 2026

Exam Format & Syllabus Breakdown

Duration: 60 minutes

Question Count:

          35 questions for Classes 1–4

           50 questions for Classes 5–10

Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)​.

Eligibility: Open to students from Class 1 to 10 across all boards.

Exam Fee: Online Exam: ₹399 (Late Fee: ₹449)

Paper-Based Exam: ₹200

Negative Marking: Applicable for incorrect answers.

A7: The top 10 scorers are invited for a 30-minute video interview worth 100 marks to finalize the top 10 ranks. In case of tie scores, rankings are determined based on Scholars Section scores, subject-wise performance, time taken, and age.
