The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is recruiting apprentices for the year 2024. Candidates interested in the ITBP Constable Tradesman Tailor & Cobbler Recruitment 2024 can apply online from 20th July 2024 to 18th August 2024. Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit: Generally, the age limit varies depending on the position. For instance, for the post of Sub-Inspector, candidates are often required to be between 20 to 25 years old. 
Educational Qualification: For constable positions, a 10th or 12th-grade pass is usually required. For higher positions like Sub-Inspector, a graduation degree may be necessary. 
Physical Standards: There are specific physical standards that candidates must meet, including height, chest measurements, and physical fitness.

A1: For Constable (Safai Karamchar/Gardener) Posts: Candidates must have passed the 10th class, have ITI qualifications in the relevant trade, or possess a two-year diploma from an ITI.
Q2: What is the main work of ITBP?
A2: Disaster rescue is the other major role of the ITBP. It is the first responder for natural disasters in the Himalayas and has 8 Regional Response Centres in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Northeast India.
