About Uttaranchal University
The university was established as a private institution of higher learning in 2013 under the provisions of the Uttaranchal University Act, 2012 (Uttarakhand Act No. 11 of 2013), and it is situated in Dehradun, the state capital of the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Under sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956, the UGC as well as other statutory authorities of the State and the Country have recognized Uttaranchal University.
This places the university solidly among the top 5% of HEIs in the country. Through excellent instruction, financial support for research and innovation, and instilling in its students the meaning of the aforementioned Sanskrit Shloka, the institution remains steadfast in its objective to offer the greatest experience to all of its students, whether regional, national, or worldwide.
