About The Maharaja Surajmal Brij University
Maharaja Surajmal Brij University (MSBU), located in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, is a state public university established in 2012 by the Government of Rajasthan under the Brij University, Bharatpur Act, 2012. Originally named Brij University, it was renamed in 2014 to honor Maharaja Surajmal, the esteemed ruler of the erstwhile Bharatpur State, renowned for his contributions to education and governance. The university's main campus is situated in the Kumher region of Bharatpur district, encompassing academic blocks, administrative offices, examination sections, and residential facilities. MSBU affiliates numerous colleges across the Bharatpur and Dholpur districts, offering undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in diverse disciplines such as Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, Education, and Management.
