Mohanlal Sukhadia University (MLSU), formerly known as Udaipur University, is a prominent public institution located in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Established in 1962 to address the higher education needs of southern Rajasthan, particularly its tribal regions, the university was renamed in 1984 to honor Mohan Lal Sukhadia, a key figure in the state's development . Spanning over 600 acres across two campuses, MLSU comprises four constituent colleges and approximately 190 affiliated colleges in the districts of Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, and Sirohi . The university offers a wide array of programs across faculties such as Science, Commerce, Humanities, Management, and Social Sciences. Recognized for its commitment to academic excellence and social responsibility, MLSU holds an 'A' grade accreditation from NAAC with a CGPA of 3.26 .
