ICCR Scholarships 2025–26

The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) offers scholarships for international students to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral studies in India for the academic year 2025–26. These scholarships aim to foster cultural exchange and strengthen international relations.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Open to international students from eligible countries.

Academic Qualifications:

For undergraduate courses: Completion of 12 years of schooling.

For postgraduate courses: Relevant undergraduate degree.

For Ph.D. programs: Relevant postgraduate degree and submission of a research synopsis.

English Proficiency: Applicants must have a good command of English. A 500-word essay in English is required during application.

Course Restrictions: Scholarships are not available for MBBS/BDS courses, integrated law courses, or short-term/casual research programs.

University Selection: Applicants can choose up to five universities/institutes from the ICCR's empaneled list.

Scholarship Benefits

Tuition Fees: Covered by the scholarship.

Living Allowance: Monthly stipend provided.

Accommodation: Assistance in securing hostel accommodation or a housing allowance.

Medical Insurance: Mandatory for all ICCR scholars; students must procure a policy with a minimum sum assured of INR 500,000 per annum.
