Scholarship Exam Details

The S.N. Bose Scholars Program is a premier exchange program between India and the United States, funded by the Dept. of Science & Technology (DST) and IUSSTF. Named after the legendary physicist Satyendra Nath Bose, it allows Indian students in their 3rd or 4th year of B.Tech/M.Sc. to spend 10-12 weeks in the summer at top-tier US universities. For 2026, the scholarship provides a stipend of $2,500 (approx. ₹2.1 Lakhs), round-trip airfare, and health insurance. It is a "Scholar" program, meaning it is intended to create long-term R&D linkages. It is exceptionally competitive, selecting only the top science and engineering students from premier Indian institutes like IITs, IISERs, and NITs.
